Trailer for Lucas' new CGI 'Clone Wars' series!

First look at a CGI Obi-Wan. I likes what I sees.

OK, if you're a "Star Wars" fan worth your salt, you've probably already seen (and possible own) the brilliant "Clone Wars" cartoon, which was produced for TV by Genndy Tartakovsky, the guy behind "Samurai Jack" (and who is currently directing the sequel to Jim Henson's "The Dark Crystal" -- w00t). And if you're anything like me, you probably loved those cartoons that bridged the gap between "Episode II" and "III" of the "Star Wars" saga.

Since the release of "Revenge of the Sith" in 2005, our flannel-garbed pal George Lucas has been dropping little tidbits of information regarding two new "Star Wars" related TV series -- one of them a CGI rendition of the events between "II" and "III," and the second a live-action series set to air in 2010. Well, George has delivered and brought us some sneak-peek footage of his new "Clone Wars" series, which will air this fall.

You can catch the exclusive trailer here.

Personally, I'm psyched. I really like the animation style. A lot. Very slick and smoothly-rendered, without looking too realistic. It retains some its cartoonish look, which I definitely appreciate (one of the chief reasons I loved "TMNT"). Can't wait!
