A pleasant surprise

I awoke this morning and instinctively checked my blog, not expecting much in the way of comments. But what do I find, waiting for me like a pair of beautifully wrapped (with exotic paper) Christmas presents?

A couple of meaty comments from some of my closest friends. Thanks a lot, guys. I appreciate the immediate scramble to comment on my new-fangled blog.

Oh, and when the end comes, I'll remember that it was Marilyn and Nusser who cared about me the most.
