Trailer Trashing (Shorts Edition): Good Eating Habits

Introducing Shorts Edition, where Trailer Trashing takes on educational short films of decades past! The length will allow for more riffing and the option of guest riffers, so look forward to more of these in the future. You'll also notice that the audio sounds considerably better -- it's because I built of pop screen out of nylons and an embroidery hoop (classy, huh?). In any case, it gets the job done, and the audio sounds great. If anyone is interested in how to make a pop screen, let me know, and I'll put a video tutorial up. Enjoy and leave your comments below!

  1. I wish I had a disembodied voice to explain to me how to get rid of MY crippling loneliness! I mean... stomach aches...

  2. So "Tastes like Harry S. Truman" is probably the funniest thing you've ever said in your life. Great with the sound quality.

Speaking of homebrewed equippies, I found this website where one can build a poor-man's steady-cam mount.

  3. Katina: Yeah, wouldn't it be nice if it was like the 50s, when every problem could be solved by a voice-over guy?

Jake: Glad you enjoyed it! And as for that steady-cam mount, feel like sharing the link with the class?

I'm totally willing to go in on this, especially if it means we'll be making more and more movies. It might not be a bad idea also to purchase a camera together.
