Richard Wright (1943-2008)
Richard Wright, keyboardist for one of my favorite bands of all time, Pink Floyd, and talented musician and songwriter, is dead at 65 after battling with cancer. His writing credits include songs on Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here, arguably two of the greatest rock albums of all time. His song "Us And Them" remains one of my favorites, not only in Floyd's repertoire, but of rock songs in general.I am deeply saddened at the passing of such a great artist. To have lost this talented musician and driving lyrical force is tragic.
